Wa All Stars made a horrible CAF Champions League debut as they lost to their Libyan Al Ahli Tripoli counterparts in their preliminary round, ending their lofty dream of ‘taking Africa by storm.’

Disappointed by how their African campaign turned out, the club, owned by the president of Ghana Football Association (GFA) Mr Kwesi Nyantakyi, who incidentally, heads the WAFU Zone B as well, have the chance to bring the smiles back on the faces of their teeming supporters in their latest endeavour.

Wa All Stars begin their campaign in Senegal with a game tomorrow against AS Tanda of Cote d’Ivoire.

The other match will be between US Goree of Senegal and Barrack Young Controllers of Liberia.

The winners of the two games will progress to play in the final while the losers will play for third place, both to be played on Sunday.
