Pep Guardiola has made a stunning start to life as City manager, winning his first six league games and sitting in first place in the division as a result.

Tottenham have remained unbeaten so far in the young season, kicking off their year with four wins and two draws. The Spurs are currently on a three-game winning run that pushed them up to the second spot of the league table at this time.

Their last game was a 2-1 nipping of newly-promoted side Middlesbrough on the road at the Riverside Stadium last Saturday, as per The Sun.

Playing without resident goalscorer Harry Kane who is currently nursing an ankle injury, South Korean winger Son Heung-min took over scoring chores and led head coach Mauricio Pochettino's side with a brace in the first half of play.

A victory for City will make it very difficult for anyone to catch them in the title race, whilst a win for Spurs will blow it wide open.

Everton meanwhile, host Crystal Palace tonight as Friday Night Football heads to Goodison Park; after a surprise slip-up to Bournemouth last time out, Ronald Koeman's men — including Palace old boy Yannick Bolasie   — will be bidding for a win that keeps them towards the top of the pack.
