Sapholda Hockey League bounces back tomorrow

The Sapholda Hockey League bounces back into action on Saturday at the Theodosia Okoh Stadium with three keen matches likely to attract much attention in the seven-team men's league.

League leaders, Trustees, with 12 points, will have the opportunity to extend their one-point lead over Ghana Revenue Authority (Customs Division) when they play bottom club Legon Knights at 3:00pm.

The Knights would need to show tremendous improvement from their last clash,following a 5-1 drubbing suffered at the hands of Ghana Police. It is only an outstanding performance that will make it possible for them to hand Trustees their second loss of the season .

In the unlikely event that Trustees drop points, second-placed GRA (11 points) will be looking to take full advantage when they face second from bottom Ark Men.

In the final clash of the men's fixtures, fifth-placed Reformers (6 points) will be looking to close-up the gap on fourth-placed Exchequers (10 points).

In the Youth League, Ark Boys will be on the hunt for a first win in three outings when they face league leaders, Real Ambassadors, and Tema Manhean will engage Young Financiers in a match that can go either way.
