Tomorrow at the Cape Coast Stadium, the two sides will clash for the first time in the history of women's football in Ghana as they attempt to get their names in the history books as the first team to lift the Sanford trophy.

Both sides are waxing confident and it is difficult to predict, but if the manner in which they qualified is anything to go by, then Madam Habiba Attah's Fabulous Ladies have the edge.

Fabulous began with a 9-0 trouncing of Northern Ladies, beat Prisons Ladies 2-0 at the Round of 16, then again beat Real Upper Ladies 4-1 in the quarter-finals before discharging National Women's League champions, Ampem Darkoa, 4-3 on penalties after the match had ended 2-2 in regulation time.

On a 1-0 win against LadyStrikers at the Round of 32, Police Ladies went on to beat   valued Ladies 2-1 on penalties after a goalless draw in regulation time, then recorded 1-0 win against Samaria Ladies before the dramatic 5-3 penalty win against Immigration.

However, with the stake in the final so high, both sides say how they got to the final won't matter as they are only focused on how to win the cup.

Police are likely to be buoyed up by the presence of their Number One supporter, the Inspector General of Police, John Kudalor, who was present at most of their home matches this season and is likely to marshal support for them as they seek their first silverware.

Aside the match, organisers are also lining up an entertainment package with performances from Cape Coast artistes led by budding stars, Kobby Symple and Okortor Perry.

Gates will open for free and about 1,500 spectators who turn up stand the chance to win some prizes.
