Pharaohs of Egypt name 23-man squad for Ghana clash

The head coach of Egypt, Hector Cuper, has called-up 14 locally-based players to augment his 9-man contingent for the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Ghana.

The Argentine tactician included veteran goalkeeper Essam Hadary in his team while there are also places for star men Mohammed Salah and Arsenal’s Mohammed El Nenny in the 23-man squad.

The Pharaohs were drawn in Group E alongside Ghana, Congo, and Uganda, with only the winner of the group qualifying for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.
