‘Odartey still Martha Bissah’s coach’
A representative of Ghana’s Youth Olympics medallist, Martha Bissah, Micky Osei Berko, insists Corporal Isaac Nii Odartey Lamptey is still the coach of the youngster.

According to him, the Kumasi-based Police Officer has not officially resigned as coach of Martha.
Already, Mr Osei Berko, popularly known as “Master Richard”, has denied earlier claims by Nii Odartey Lamptey that he had taken over the young athlete.
In an interview with the Graphic Sports last Monday, Mr Berko stated, “ Martha’s coach has not resigned and Coach Amuzu is just helping because Odartey Lamptey is based in Kumasi”.
The young female athlete and her coach have for sometime now been in the news following Martha’s sudden decision to switch camp to Kasoa, where she is said to be living with the Ghanaian actor.
But Mr. Berko claimed he was only a representative of the athlete when the Ghana Athletics Association summoned him and accused him of trying to breach the law on managing a minor in athletics.
Meanwhile, Mr Osei Berko has disclosed that Martha was preparing feverishly for the upcoming All African Games (AAG) and the World Youth Championships, saying he believes she will take the championships by storm when she competes.
“My relationship with Martha is like a father and daughter affair at home and only ensuring that she prepares very well for the All Africa Games and the World Youth Championships,” he stated.
