Novelty table tennis at West Hills Mall

The West Hills Mall in partnership with Chicken Inn and Ghana Table Tennis Association (GTTA), will stage a two-week novelty national table tennis tournament at the West hills Malls star.

The competition, which is open to all ping-pong players nationwide, will begin today with an exhibition match at 6 p.m. to create awareness of the game among patrons of the mall.

It is expected to attract the best table tennis players under one roof in the sports centre of the mall.

The tournament will then start from December 3 to 10, with an elimination round of over 500 players expected to compete.

It will enter the final round on December 17, for winners to play against each other for the eventual winner.

Prizes at stake will include a flat-screen TV, Microwave and mobile phones.
