The 25-year-old who completed his loan spell with Turkish side. Umraniyespor last season told Graphic Sports over the weekend that his manager was finalising negotiation and would soon sign a new contract.

Although the deal had reached advance stages, Otoo who played an instrumental role in securing Norwegian side, Sogndal’s return to the top flight two seasons ago, said he preferred to keep the name of the club under wraps until the deal was concluded.

“Negotiation is ongoing and I am certain by mid-August I will put pen to paper when the deal is concluded after that I will disclose my destination to the public”, the former Black Satellite skipper noted.

The unattached former Sogndal play maker said since he completed his loan move from the Turkish club, he had step up training to keep his form and can’t wait to go back to action for his new club in the coming league season.

When he was questioned as to whether he would like to play in the local league, the nimble-footed attacking midfielder said his dreams for now was to play in a big European club to show the world his potential.

However, he admitted that the local league still needed his services and said he would one day like to come back and play in the local league’ “but for now I want a bigger stage to exhibit my talent to the rest of the world”, Mahatma indicated.

Graphic Sports checks indicates that offers had come from many European countries including Germany and Turkey for which the player corroborated but said he would chose a destination where he would be offered more playing time and not the club with big names who will keep him on the periphery.
