Ledzokuku candidate to renovate Teshie Park

An Independent Parliamentary Candidate for the Ledzokuku Constituency, Stephen Stanley Quaye, has promised to renovate the Teshie Star Park to help footballers in the community when voted into office on December 7.

Mr Quaye noted that the constituency boasts of a lot of fooball talents who need to nurture their talents and he is ready to help them with the construction of a modern stadium with the support of the Ledzokuku Krowor Municipal Assembly (LEKMA) to serve the youth of Teshie.

He revealed that the constituency has produced former and current players such as Laryea Kingston, Richard Kinsgon, John Boye, Sammy Adjei and Daniel Amartey, among others, who all featured for the Black Stars.

He, however, noted that the provision of the stadium would offer more young talents the chance to realise their dreams of becoming professional footballers.

In an interview with the Graphic Sports, Mr Quaye said, "I have a policy to renovate the Teshie Star Park into a stadium that can help unearth young talents in the sport when voted into office".

"I will work with the support of LEKMA to achieve that goal and I believe it will serve the interest of the constituency since football is one of the most loved sports in the community," he added.
