Latif Blessing to stay put if...

Topscorer of the just-ended Premier League, Latif Blessing, says he will continue to play for Liberty Professionals in next season’s campaign if he is unable to secure himself a concrete deal from any club.

The 20-year-old denied rumours in the public domain about his focus on departing the Dansoman-based club ahead of the new campaign, saying he is yet  to consider any offer from clubs.

Latif has been one of the best players this season after a series of impressive performances which led to him winning the goalking of the just ended league with 17 goals.

In an interview with the Graphis Sports, Latif said, “I am ready to continue serving Liberty if I don’t secure myself a concrete deal from any club”.

“It is a lie that I am focused on leaving the club before next season because I am yet to consider any offer from any club,” Latif added.

The former Kotoko ball boy noted that he owed Liberty a lot and “after making me who I am today I am ready to play for them on any day”.

However, he revealed his love for English giants, Arsenal, and expressed his hope to play for them later in his career.
