Kwadwo Asamoah returns to Juventus training

Ghana midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah and Giorgio Chiellini have returned to Juventus training ahead of a Serie A clash with Sampdoria on Wednesday.

Asamoah has been out since last month with a knee injury, while Chiellini missed the league match with AC Milan last weekend.

However, both trained with their Bianconeri teammates on Monday, as confirmed by the club’s official website.

They are now in contention for Maximiliano Allegri's squad to face Sampdoria at the Juventus Stadium at 6.45pm.

Asamoah's return will also serve as a boost for Ghana's senior national team who face Egypt in a crucial 2018 World Cup qualifier.

There are problems for the Old Lady at the other end of the pitch though, as both Paulo Dybala and Marko Pjaca will miss out.
