Inusah’s return boost for Hearts

Accra Hearts of Oak defender, Inusah Musah, believes his return from injury is timely for the club as they seek to snatch crucial away points when they visit Berekum Chelsea for their Match Day Nine tie of the Ghana Premier League (GPL) on Sunday.

He told the Daily Graphic over the telephone yesterday that his return to training would be a further boost for Phobians’ defence  as Coach Frank Nuttal seeks to build an iron clad protection for his team.

Inusah and midfielder Malik Akowuah sustained injuries during their game against arch-rivals Kumasi Asante Kotoko in Accra a fortnight ago, and were compelled to sit out until last Monday when they resumed normal training with the team.

“I am happy to be back and available for selection as we prepare to take on Berekum Chelsea on Sunday,” he said.

“I am sure that our return will help the team a lot, as we seek to maintain a good record on the road.”

Voted the Best GPL Defender last season, Inusah is seeking to retain that honour  this year and has assured the teeming supporters of the club that the team would leave no stone unturned to grab all three points at the Berekum Golden City Park to continue their upward movement on the league log.

Both Inusah and Akowuah have featured prominently for the Phobians since the season began and have been phenomenal in their various roles helping the capital-based club to move to the sixth position of the table with 12 points.
