I earned €7.5m in two years, money is no longer important to me - Gyan
Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan has disclosed that money was not a factor in his decision to join Turkish club Kayerispor because he earned 7.5 million euros during his time in China with Shanghai SIPG.

Gyan joined Chinese Super League giants Shanghai SIPG in 2015 in a two-year deal which reportedly earned him in excess of £162,000 per week in wages.
He recently signed for Kayerispor on a two-year contract and he insists that money was not his motivation for moving to Turkey.
“Money is not important to me. I earned 7.5 million euros in China. I have let go half of the money I will receive from you already," former Sunderland striker Gyan said in an interview with fanatik.com.tr.
“It’s important to score a goal, but people will be happy when the team wins. I will do what is best for me to make the fans happy. I am really happy to be here."
The former Sunderland forward scored 95 goals in 83 games helping Al Ain win the league three times and in the process finish as UAE Pro League Top Scorer on three occasions.
Gyan, 31, is approaching the twilight of a career which has seen him feature for clubs including Udinese, Rennes, Al Ain and Sunderland.
He is also the record scorer for the Black Stars of Ghana, scoring 51 goals in 105 appearances for the national team of Ghana in international football.
