Hearts fall to Medeama in MTN-FA Cup semis

Medeama will face Kumasi Asante Kotoko in the final of this year's MTN FA Cup after beating Hearts of Oak 2-1 at the Robert Mensah Stadium yesterday.

Kwesi Donsu gave Medeama the lead six minutes into the game when he volleyed the ball beyond the reach of goalkeeper Seidu Mutawakilu in post for Hearts.

Donsu doubled Medeama's lead 10 minutes later with another long range shot to give his side a comfortable 2-0 lead into the first half break.

Medeama began the second half with the same level of confidence they exhibited in the first half as they maintained their dominance pver their opponents.

Hearts however, found their rhythm after Coach Herbert Addo introduced striker Foovi Aguidi into the game.

The Phobians managed to pull one back after skipper Robin Gnagne converted a spot kick in the 55th minute.
