Golf: Yeboah, others for Captain 1 Invitational

Dormaa Black Stars legend and ardent based club golfer Tony Yeboah will join over 50 professional and amateur golfers across the country at the Nsuta Golf Club in the Western Region on Saturday when the ‘Captain 1 Golf Society Invitational tournament’ teesoff.

Yeboah is expected to participate in the competition which features the former Vice- President of the Professional Golfers Association (PGA) Ghana, Mr Michael Acheampong; a former PGA Ghana captain, Mr Solomon Harveyl; PGA Ghana President Mr Tony Mintah; Ghana Golf Association President Mr Lee Mensah and a host of others.

Mr Appiah, who is the former captain of the Damang Golf Club, mentioned at a press conference in Accra on Tuesday that the competition would become an annual event, in addition to Inter-Clubs Junior tournaments.
