GOC to hold Congress on Saturday

The Ghana Olympic Committee (GOC) will hold its annual congress on Saturday at the Theodosia Okoh Stadium in Accra.

A statement signed by Richard Akpokavie, the Secretary General of the GOC, said the meeting will discuss issues relevant to the development of sports in the country.
The statement said topical issues on the menu of the highest decision making body of the GOC are: Report of President of the GOC; Report of Auditors; Consideration of Audited Reports (2015) and Discharge of Executive Board; Appointment of Auditor, Rio 2016 Olympic Games, among others.
The session will be attended by representatives of the over 30 national associations affiliated to the GOC.
