The game scheduled at 3.00p.m. will see the Black Queens test their arsenals against their Ivorian counterparts who will be counting on their home support to oust the Ghanaians considered as favourites.

Ghana, who are in Group A along side the host nation Niger and Burkina Faso, would be playing in the eight-nation competition for the first time.

Their male counterparts won the revived edition of the competition last year when it was hosted in Ghana but the Black Queens would be aiming to replicate that feat, although, they are hoping to achieve that outside their home turf.

Group B team also consist of the continent’s football powerhouse, Nigeria, Senegal, Benin and Togo with the Super Falcons expected to take on their Beninois counterparts on February 15 at 3.00p.m. at the Robert Champroux Stadium, the same day Senegal also take on Togo at 6.00p.m.

The Black Queens are expected to take on Niger in their second game at 3.00p.m. at the Robert Champroux Stadium for their second match on February 16 with their final game scheduled against Burkina Faso two days later.

After the first round of matches the games would take a break on February 20 and resume two days later with the two semi-final matches on February 22 and on February 24 the third place match would be played at 2.30p.m. before the final game at 4.30p.m. the same day.
