GHALCA G-6 launch in K’si Oct 29

The Executive Council of the Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) will launch its expanded pre-season tournament, G-6, on October 29 in Kumasi.

GHALCA has expanded its flagship competition from the top four clubs to the top six sides in the top flight, with newly crowned Premiership champions Wa All Stars, Aduana Stars, Hearts of Oak, Medeama, Asante Kotoko and Bechem United.

According to a statement signed by the GHALCA Chairman, Mr Kudjoe Fianoo, the G-6 tournament will be played at the Accra Stadium, Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi and the Sunyani Coronation Park.

According to the statement, GHALCA will organise a new tournament on October 30 to welcome the three promoted Division One clubs into the Premier League.

The competing clubs will be Great Olympics FC, Elmina Sharks FC, the yet-to -be declared winner of Zone 1 and the 2nd best placed team in Division One.  —GNA
