Fireworks to climax ping-pong 1st round
The final round matches of the ongoing table tennis league will be staged at the D.G. Hathiramani Sports Hall of the Accra Sports Stadium tomorrow as Tesano Spinners maintain a firm grip at the top.

Tomorrow’s games will be spiced with a special media challenge tournament aimed at promoting the game in the country.The top liner of the day will be a cracker between third-placed SmartLine@Emefs and second-placed Immigration in one of the first matches of the day.
Both teams have 40 points each and need a win to keep up the chase on Tesano Spinners.
Nigeria’s trio of Ajulo Gbenga, Favour Ayobame and Ayodele Sunday who have propelled SmartLine@Emefs to the third spot are expected to turn the heat on the defending champions.
Incidentally, the champions, who feature three top seeds in Derek Abrefa, Felix Lartey and Emmnanuel Commey will be no pushovers in this crucial duel.
The last time the two teams met, Immigration edged SmartLine@Emefs 3-2 in the first leg, setting the stage for SmartLine@Emefs to seek revenge this time.
In other first round matches, Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) will play Police, Western Table Tennis Club will engage Synergy, Kings Royal Academy (KRA) meet Ashaiman Club and Fire encounter Team Coach Addo.
The other matches will see Navy against Spinners, Loopers engage Madina Stars, Ashanti Otumfuo Stars play Team Baboo while Army stand by.
In round two matches, Immigration will meet Police, SmartLine@Emefs play Synergy, GRA face Ashaiman Club, Western encounter Coach Addo and KRA play Tesano Spinners.
The rest are: Fire against Madina Stars, Navy versus Army, Loopers versus Team Baboo, while Otumfuo Stars draw by.
