Emmanuel Frimpong draws comparisons between Bendtner and Ibrahimovic
Ghana midfielder, Emmanuel Frimpong has likened his former Arsenal teammate Nicklas Bendtner to flamboyant Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Frimpong who began his career alongside Bendtner at Arsenal explains that the "Lord" and Manchester United star Ibrahimovic are similar in the confident manner in which they behave.
"The way he talks. The way he stands. The way he carries on. He is a bit like Zlatan", Frimpong said in an interview with insidefutbol.com.
"The way he carries himself, you know he's a guy with confidence."
Frimpong, 25, says he is happy he had the chance to play alongside the confident Dane at Arsenal because they shared a similar temperament.
Frimpong and Bendtner have seen their careers slide since leaving Arsenal and the former currently plays for Swedish minnows AFC Eskiltuna while the latter turns out for Norwegian giants Rosenborg.

However, Frimpong does not view their current clubs with disappointment but sees it as a testament to their fighting spirit.
"Nicklas is a bit like me, Sometimes people don't quite understand Nicklas. He believes in himself, and he believes that he is the best. Why not? If he does not believe in themselves, how could others do it? There is nothing wrong with that," Frimpong said.
"Nicklas has some funny stories like me and sometimes we did some stupid things. Nicklas was super cool and very fun, he always made me laugh."
Emmanuel Frimpong made 6 appearances for Arsenal between 2011-2014 while Bendtner made 108 appearances for the Gunners, scoring 24 goals.
