Dwarfs target Kotoko upset tomorrow

Kumasi Asante Kotoko shook themselves from their shocking CAF Champions League exit last Sunday to record an important 1-0 away win over Medeama SC in Tarkwa on Thursday, and will be looking forward to adding another three points at home against Ebusua Dwarfs tomorrow to cement their comfortable lead.

Dwarfs visit the Baba Yara Stadium for this First Capital Plus Premier League week 16 outstanding match in such a precarious state after losing 1-2 to New Edubiase United at home just on Thursday.

The return of Coach Prof. J.K. Mintah to the Dwarfs fold ahead of the second round of the league is expected to boost the team’s chances in Kumasi where Dwarfs usually worry Kotoko.

The Round of 16 matches, which were supposed to have taken place this weekend, have been postponed to next month, following a meeting between the MTN FA Cup Committee and the Premier League Board last Wednesday to help clear some outstanding premiership matches.
