Chelsea get Terry boost to face Hull City

Chelsea have been boosted by the news that captain John Terry reportedly should be fit to face Hull City tomorrow.

The 35-year-old has missed the Blues’ last three games, two of which happen to be the first games they have lost this season.

The Londoners have also conceded seven goals in the trio of matches, with the back four clearly missing their leader while he was injured and then attempting to get back to 100% fitness.

According to the Daily Mirror, the Stamford Bridge faithful won’t have to deal with a centre-back partnership of David Luiz and Gary Cahill for much longer.

Antonio Conte could drop one of the pair, or even go with a back three against the Tigers – who have lost their last two Premier League matches, against Liverpool and Arsenal.

Terry originally picked up his ankle ligament injury against Swansea City back on September 11, and Chelsea have slipped down the table since then.

Conte and co. have lost their unbeaten record with consecutive defeats to Liverpool and Arsenal – the same teams Hull have fallen to recently – and have fallen to eighth in the league without their captain.
