Can Faisal halt Kotoko in Kumasi?

With 12 games to end the First Capital Plus Premier League, King Faisal will attempt to halt runaway leaders Kumasi Asante Kotoko in their 19th week top liner at their shared home venue of Baba Yara Stadium Wednesday.

Faisal have an arduous task in the Kumasi derby as they attempt to break down the seemingly unstoppable Kotoko machine that is unbeaten at home and commands a 12-point advantage over closest rivals, Accra Hearts of Oak.

This afternoon, Berekum Chelsea will play Wa All Stars in an early midweek match at the Golden City Park to enable the home side of travel to Tunis for their  return CAF Champions League engagement against Libya’s Ahly Benghazi this weekend.

Other fixtures slated for tomorrow include Heart of Lions versus Bechem United at the Kpando Park, Liberty Professionals against visiting Sekondi Hasaacas at  the Carl Reindorf Park at Dansoman for the first time this season, Ashantigold versus bottom club Inter Allies at the Len Clay Stadium at Obuasi and Amidaus Professionals  and New Edubiase United at the Tema Stadium for a mid-table clash.

The duels involving Confederation Cup hopefuls, Ebusua Dwarfs, and Medeama SC, who take on Aduana Stars and Hearts of Oak respectively, have been postponed to March 12.
