Bolga All Stars pip Wa All Stars

Bolga All Stars, who have just gained promotion to the Ghana Premier League last Thursday beat GPL champions, Wa All Stars, 4-2 in a special match in Bolga to celebrate their respective feats.

Wa All Stars who are touring the three northern regions to solicit for more support for their CAF Champions League campaign  made a stop over in Bolga where they met the Regional Minister, as well as football officials the region.

Bolga All Stars, who achieved qualification last week, returned home from Tamale earlier in the week and took advantage of the presence of Wa All Stars to play a friendly which formed part of their coronation, an event which saw the chairman of the Division One League Board, Kwasi Owoahene Acheampong and other DOLB officials, gracing the occasion.

Ghana Premier League champions, Wa All Stars stop over the offices of the Upper East Regional Minister Mr Albert Abongo on their champions trophy tour of the three northern regions. 

After the match, Bolga All Stars received the trophy for winning the Zone One competition.
