The former Kumasi Asante Kotoko striker who in the past flirted with representing Ghana at international level told francophone news outlet letalentcache that he will take the Ghanaian league by storm next season.

The 29-year-old Toure said: "I want to make a name for myself and explode in the championship and God will help me achieve this.

"My goal is to play well for my club and play for the Stallions of Burkina Faso. That is my dream and I have faith that i will play for the national team of Ghana. I am aware that I still have a long way to go but I will achieve my goals."

Toure also rated the standard of the Ghana Premier League as higher than the Ivory Coast league.

"The Ghanaian championship is more efficient and professional than the Ivory Coast even though they also pay well".

The controversial striker started his career with Africa Sports in the Cote d'Ivoire before making the switch to Kumasi Asante Kotoko where he scored 14 goals between 2007-2008 in 25 games.

He then moved to Lokeren in Belgium were he enjoyed his highest goal return of 17 goals in 32 games between 2008 and 2010.

Toure has since become a journeyman, having brief stints with CS Sfaxien in Tunisia, Accra Hearts of Oak and Kotoko in Ghana and playing for El Gouna in Egypt.
