Over the weekend, the Techiman-based team beat Real Upper Ladies 2-1 in their away game at Wa to make it three wins out of three matches, having won the first two matches in an emphatic manner.

Ampem Darkoa, who at the beginning of the season indicated that they were eyeing a double, seem to be on the right path as they have had their players hitting the target in each game.

The three wins have placed them firmly on top of the standings in the northern zone with nine points and are interestingly, being pursued by newcomers, Kumasi  Soccer Academy Ladies, who shocked Prisons Ladies 4-1 in their away game at Sunyani, to assume the second position with seven points.

Fabulous Ladies, working hard to reclaim their old form, are third with six points after snatching a crucial 4-3 away win against Northern Ladies in Tamale.

Lepo Ladies who also won 2-1 against Ashtown Ladies in their encounter in Kumasi are fourth with four points while Northern Ladies (two), Real Upper Ladies (one) and Prisons Ladies (one) are in that order.

In the southern zone, Sea Lions who beat Soccer Intellectuals 2-0, are the surprise league leaders with six points, while the away win against Police Ladies, have also helped push Immigration Ladies to second place with six points.

The f1-0 away win LadyStrikers earned against Hasaacas Ladies, their first in the season, have also helped them to third position, while Hasaacas, who began the season on top, are fourth with four points, Intellectuals are fifth with four points, Samaria, 2-1 winners against Holy Royals are sixth with four points as well. Police Ladies and Holy Royals lie seventh and eighth with two points and a point respectively.
