Hearts will fall in Accra - Declares Berekum Chelsea coach

Berekum Chelsea Coach, Randolf Armah, believes his side stands a better chance to beat Hearts of Oak when the two teams slug it out in today's Premier League clash at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Coach Armah told the Graphic Sports in a telephone interview yesterday that his side would be out to exploit Hearts’ recent dip in form by defeating them at their own backyard.

He added that his side was more prepared physically and psychologically than the Phobians to carry the day.

"We are in a better position to beat Hearts of Oak in Accra because my team is physically and psychologically prepared for the game.

"Their recent dip in form provides us with an opportunity to beat them and we will go all out to exploit that aspect in today’s clash.

"We are not underrating a team like Hearts because they can bounce back on any day but they can't just stop us," Coach Armah said.

Both Hearts and Chelsea are coming into the game without a win in their last league outings, with the former losing by a lone goal to Bechem United and the latter drawing 1-1 at home with Inter Allies last Sunday.

Coach Frank Nuttal needs to revive a Phobian side that currently lacks confidence after going two games without a win to put their title contention back on track. Players such as Patrick Razak, Kwame Kizito, skipper Thomas Abbey, Winful Cobbinah, Vincent Atinga and Robin Gnagne among others have to brace for their opponents’ challenge if they are to carry the day.

Kumasi Asante Kotoko will be in high spirits when they travel to the El-Wak Stadium tomorrow to engage Inter Allies in search of a fourth consecutive win.

The Porcupine Warriors beat Wa All Stars, Ebusua Dwarfs and Medeama and are keen to add Allies to their victims, and skipper Amos Frimpong says Inter Allies cannot stand in their way today.

Frimpong, who praised Coach Steven Pollack for their recent run of impressive form, explained that the team were prepared and confident for a win.

Frimpong said in a telephone interview with the Graphic Sports yesterday that it would be impossible for their opponents to beat them, considering the morale in camp.

"I don't see Inter Allies standing in our way by ending our winning streak because the team is more than prepared for the game.

"They can't beat us with the preparation we have had so far, and I credit Coach Pollack for our transformation in previous matches," he said.

"Inter Allies are a good side who will definitely give us problems but we are ready for them and I assure our fans of victory in Accra," Frimpong predicted.

In other games, title chasers Aduana Stars come up against champions Wa All Stars at the Wa Stadium as they struggle to win games consecutively, while leaders WAFA welcome Bechem United to the Red Bull Arena at Sogakope with their sights set on maintaining their lead, with a game to spare against Ashantigold.

A resurgent Ashantigold side will hope to make it six wins on the trot as they travel to the Utrecht Academy Park in Tamale to play Bolga All Stars; Liberty Professionals host Elmina Sharks at the Dansoman Carl Reindolf Park, Tema Youth face Medeama at the Tarkwa T & A park, with Ebusua Dwarfs hosting Great Olympics at the Cape Coast Stadium.
