A match lauded by the technical officials of both teams for the high standard displayed, Ablordey insists the Phobians were better on the day.

“Hearts displayed tactical maturity last Sunday and came close to winning the game on several occassions, particularly in the second half.

“Even though we were not happy with the draw as a win would have pushed as far, I think Hearts did well,” he in a post-match interview.

The two sides drew 1-1 with Kotoko’s striker Kwame Boateng opening the scoring before the Phobians pulled even with the equaliser through enterprising Patrick Razak in the second half.

Both teams had chances to settle and pick up maximum points but failed. Indeed, it was the Phobians, who had the best of opportunities the brilliant run by substitute Musa Ibrahim which was thwarted by goalkeeper Ernest Sowah’s brilliance

But Ablordey, who assisted Coach Michael Osei on the day, conceded that the Phobians showed brilliance from the bench to pick up their point.

“Both sides played very well, it was a game of two halves, we dominated the first half and also played well in the second half,” Ablordey admitted.

"Both teams didn’t create any dangerous chance, Hearts played a matured game, they were well organized and play with high intensity and tactical they were brilliant.

We have more matches to go, the league is not lost at all and every game is difficult. We have to go back to the drawing board and correct our mistakes, we have a very good team,” he added.
