Bechem star wants Zacharias to stay

Bechem United forward, Yaw Anorl, has appealed to Coach Manuel Zacharis to stay with the club despite reports linking him to a move to another club.

Anorl, who was adjudged the Best Player of this year's MTN FA Cup, noted that the club needed Coach Zacharis to stay, especially for the CAF Confederation Cup campaign.

Coach Zacharis has been a target of giant clubs, Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko, after a stellar performance with the club to bechem United’s first-ever FA Cup trophy.

But in an interview with the Graphic Sports, the sensational Arnol, who picked three awards at this year’s MTN FA Cup Awards said: "He (Zacharias) is good at his job and I wouldn't want him to leave the club".

"The club must do everything possible to keep him, especially when we are about to compete in Africa," he added.

Talking about his vision for the new season, Anorl promised to work harder to help his side challenge for more trophies.

He noted that he and his colleagues were ready to work tirelessly to make a mark in next year's CAF Confederation Cup.
