According to the General Manager of Alive&Kicking, Wilson Kwabena Duffour, the presentation forms part of a sponsorship package his outfit seeks to offer the GARFA.

Presenting the balls to the GARFA at the Ghana Football Association secretariat in Accra yesterday, Mr Duffour noted that his outfit was committed to the development of juvenile football in the country.

He expressed the hope that the balls would be put to good use in order to help participating clubs to nurture more talents for the nation.

"This sponsorship will go a long way to help the participating clubs in their bid to develop talents for the country.

"We believe this can help develop juvenile football in the country. The likes of Stephen Appiah and Michael Essien began their careers as juvenile footballers and we hope to achieve greater heights in the sport," he said.

The chairman of the GARFA, Nii Komiete Doku, who received the footballs on behalf of the clubs, noted that the sponsorship would serve as a boost to juvenile football, especially where the products are produced locally.

The Technical Director of the GFA, Francis Oti Akenten, thanked Alive&Kicking for the gesture and promised his outfit would ensure they were put to good use.
