And the hero of the night was skippper Godfried Saka whose last kick did the trick after veteran Bernard Don Bortey had scored to put the scores at 3-3.

Played under floodlights against the background of an average crowd, Aduana was dealt an 18th minute blow when the Phobians went ahead through Patrick Razak but they fought to clinch the equaliser in the 63rd minute through striker Nathaniel Asamoah.

The Phobians started the game on a fast not and put their opponents under pressure with their midfield duo of Samudeen Ibrahim and Isaac Mensah earning the applause of the Phobians with their brilliant combinations.

It came as little wonder when Hearts opened the scores after Thomas Abbey was fouled by Saka. The resultant kick by Joshua Otoo which was punched into play by goalkeeper Joseph Addo of Aduana was slotted into the net by Razak to end the first 1-0 in favour of the Phobians.

The second half was far more intense as the two sides battled for the winner but it was Aduana who scored in the 63rd minute through substitute Nathaniel Asamoah who came in for Bright Adjei. Hearts brought on Don Bortey for Mensah but the scores remained 1-1 in regulation time to throw the game into penalties.

Vincent Atinga, Anthony Nimo and Don Bortey scored for the Phobians while Yakubu Mohammed, Noah Martey, Sam Adams and Saka all beat Ben Mensah in post for Hearts to lift the trophy at stake.
