Quartey ready to fight Gamal
Ghananaian boxer, Emmanuel Quartey, aka Akuffo Addo, will begin his quest for a world title as he battles Brit Gamal Yafai in a super bantamweight contest in Manchester on December 3.

The 27-year-old boxer who has won 20 and lost two professional bouts, has intensified his training regimen to ensure he defeats the unbeaten English fighter.
Quartey, who last fought and defeated Isaac Nettey at the Wembley Park at Kotobabi last September, has vowed to inflict the first defeat on his British opponent.
“ I am very prepared for this fight and would bring home the title with the help of God,” he told the Daily Graphic in an interview at his training base in James Town, Accra.
His trainers, Michael Laker and Samuel Yamoah, are very optimistic that their charge will come out victorious after the end of 12 rounds.
The bout is under the promotion of British based Matchroom Sport Limited will see the Ghanaian depart Accra on November 30 to the United Kingdom.
His opponent, the unbeaten Yafai, 25, who has 10 bouts to his credit, is also reported to be preparing feverishly for the fight.
