Mahama entertains NDC supporters in Akropong

It was quite a sight to behold Thursday night when President John Dramani Mahama demonstrated his own skills in singing by joining highlife musician,  Amandzeba Nat Brew, live on stage to sing the musician's hit song,  "Wogbe Jeke " in front of a mass of National Democratic Congress  (NDC) supporters at Akropong Akuapem in the Eastern region.

The rally grounds exploded into excitement with many in the gathering joining in the singing of the song. 

Amandzeba is one of the celebrities who have declared their support for President Mahama's re-election bid.

He was at Akropong to canvass for votes for the NDC presidential candidate. 

Mahama speaks 

Addressing the supporters, the President said there was no question about the performance of his government looking at the foundation laid for socio-economic advancement. 

He told the crowd that his second term would be one of prosperity for all Ghanaians.

As the crowd cheered, he urged them not to give in to the opposition tricks, and lies about the government. 

The NDC, he stressed, must remain focused on winning the elections. 

President Mahama mentioned the many challenges that confronted the government including the power crisis and said government worked assiduously to address them.
