PPP Vice-Presidential Candidate begins ‘Bright Awakening’ tour today

The Running Mate to Dr Papa Kwesi Nduom, Ms Brigitte Dzogbenuku, will be embarking on "The Bright Awakening" tour of the nation ahead of the December 7 election. The tour, which begins in the Volta Region today, is focused on explaining to the Ghanaian electorate what a wasted vote is.

Ms Dzogbenuku will also be engaging the electorate to reiterate the point that proper change lies in votes for Dr Papa Kwesi Nduom and the PPP as a whole. 

She will interact directly with the electorate through small community group meetings, radio stations and places of work. 

She will also underscore the reality that a “wasted vote is one that brings about unemployment, diseases and unfriendly economic environment.”

A press statement from the PPP said all over the country, there was the hunger to break away from the duopoly and status quo, and to support an alternative political party that was set to bring real change to the country as a whole and the many precious lives. 

“Ghanaians want a government that will break away from the practice of alienation and embrace inclusiveness. Ghanaians want a disciplined and committed government that will work with the sole aim of attaining a hallmark of excellence with a sense of urgency,” the statement added. 

According to the release, the PPP is committed to forming a government which will provide incorruptible leadership, create jobs across the country, ensure a cleaner and healthier society and ensure the implementation of the FCUBE.
