The windscreen of the Hyundai Santa Fe parked at the mum's house at Teshie was destroyed by stones that were thrown into the house by some men who were jubilating that the MP had lost her seat in the parliamentary election.

According to an eyewitness, Georgina Dogbe, the incident happened shortly after Mrs Okity-Duah lost the Ledzokuku parliamentary seat to the New Patriotic Party candidate, Dr Okoe Boye.

She alleged that the destruction was caused by NPP supporters who besieged the residence in celebrations, throwing stones into the compound.

She said the Teshie police intervened to arrest some of them.

When the Graphic Online got to the Teshie Police Station to confirm the arrest, the Station Officer was not present to confirm the arrest.
