Ms Djaba had gathered caterers and women organisers in NPP to introduce the new coordinator to them but some members of the NPP, led by the regional chairman, Mr Bugri Naabu who argued things were not being done properly scattered the meeting.

Mr Bugri Naabu argued he had no prior knowledge of the meeting and hence it cannot go on.

"Even the President cannot come to the region without informing the regional chairman and his executives for his intention of coming to the region,” Mr Naabu said.

He noted that the Minister [Otiko]  has no right to appoint a regional coordinator and that as far as he was concerned, the position has been given to one Felicia.

Subsequently, the two leading members of the NPP traded accusations, counter allegations and insults with Otiko arguing that Naabu disrespected her position.
