KT Hammond retains Adansi Asokwa seat

Mr Kobina Tahir Hammond has retained his Adansi Asokwa constituency seat in the Ashanti region.

He polled 16,459 representing 54.50 per cent of valid votes cast as against the National Democracy Congress (NDC) candidate’s Amankwa Evans’s 12,389 votes representing 41.02 per cent.

The independent candidate in the constituency Oduro Richard Anokye secured 1351 votes represenging 4.47 percent of valid votes cast
