Dr Agyemang-Mensah donates 20 motorbikes to Ashanti NDC

Making the presentation, Dr Agyemang-Mensah noted that  the donation was part of his contribution to the campaign team in its efforts to realise the one million votes in the Ashanti Region for President Mahama  in the 2016 presidential election.

He expressed the hope that  the logistics would be of  help in the campaign.

Mr Yaw Obimpeh, the  Ashanti Regional Chairman of the party, commended Dr Agyemang-Mensah for the gesture, which he said came at the right time.

He said the party was working hard in the region  to make its dream come to fruition

The Regional Campaign Co-ordinator, Mr Andy Okrah, who is  the deputy Ashanti Regional Minister, also  thanked the donor for his contribution.

He noted that  the team was ever ready and was making frantic efforts to exceed the one million target.

Mr Okrah asked other party activists to emulate his example in a bid to win the elections.

Dr Agyemang-Mensah   indicated that the machinations of some of the opposing parties to malign party members   would not materialise and expressed the optimism that the  NDC would definitely emerge victorious.

He noted that the good work done in the areas of roads, water, school infrastructure, new markets  and many other related projects testified to a party which was serious and therefore needed to  be given the mandate to continue with such work.

He called on the numerous supporters of the  party and its sympathisers to move to the nook and cranny to sell to the electorate what the party had done and would continue  to do when given the nod once again.

Dr Agyemang-Mensah  also advised the members to exercise restraint in the course of their campaigns even when they were provoked.
