Chief of Staff on five-day visit to Eastern Region
The Chief of Staff, Mr Julius Debrah, has noted that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) government is not seeking the mandate of Ghanaians for the sake of it, but rather wants to promote development in the country.

He said the December 7,2016 election was not about life and death, since it is in the best interest of Ghanaians.
Addressing the media in a brief encounter in Koforidua in the Eastern Region, Mr Debrah said the Eastern Region “abounds in a number of natural resources which will be developed to provide job opportunities for the youth.”
Mr Debrah is in the region on a five-day visit to explain to the people what the government could do for them. He is accompanied by Mr Ato Sarpong, the Deputy Minister of communication; Madam Faustina Nelson, Koku Anyidoho, Ludwig Hlodze and Miss Emelia Arthur, all leading members of the NDC.
As part of his itinerary, the chief of staff will meet party executives, imams, chiefs and the working class.
Mr Debrah said there was the need for a conscious effort to develop the youth to enable them to get employment, but that did not mean that the President was going to stop infrastructure development.
The NDC has declared an "Agenda 50-50 per cent" in the Eastern Region where it has targeted to share the popular votes with the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Whether they will be able to achieve this target or not will be known on December 7, 2016.

And from Ho in the Volta Region, Kofi Atsivor reports that the Chief of Staff, has completed a four-day campaign tour of the region to galvanise support for the re-election bid of President John Mahama at the December 7 polls.
Mr Debrah, who led a high-powered campaign team of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to the party's stronghold,
acknowledged and appreciated the unflinching loyalty of the people of the Volta Region toward the electoral fortunes of the NDC over the years and called on the electorate to maintain the status quo in this year's election.
Addressing members of the Zongo community in Ho last Friday, Mr Debrah said the region, being the home of the governing NDC, had received its share of development projects under President Mahama's first term and appealed for a second-term mandate for the President to enable him to complete his transformational agenda for the country.
