Children from 84 countries around the world on Friday, October 20 took part in cookery workshops led by chefs from Nestlé Professional as part of the Nestlé for Healthier Kids Global School Programme.

The activities were in celebration of International Chefs Day, held on the theme: “Foods for Healthy Heroes” aimed at raising awareness in children about healthy eating by letting them be creative with food.

In Central and West Africa, Nestlé organised a cookery workshop in Nigeria with renowned chefs to help kids turn healthy recipes into edible ‘Healthy Heroes’ that would be fun to make and healthy to eat.

Nestlé for Healthier Kids forms part of Nestlé’s commitment to help 50 million children lead healthier lives by 2030.
