Former Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Mr Martin Amidu had made the allegation against the President in an application to the Supreme Court to be given the opportunity to orally cross examine Mr Woyome.
On Wednesday the Supreme Court granted Mr Amidu's application for him to go ahead and cross examine Woyome on November 24.
However the court ordered that some paragraphs of Mr Amidu's affidavit be expunged from the records following an argument by the Attorney General that they were "scandulous"
At a Presidential Encounter on GTV Wednesday night, a questioner asked President Mahama what he was doing to retrieve the money from Mr Woyome.
