Dubbed “Magnify the Lord with me”, the service was held at the Accra International Conference Centre.

It attracted a cross-section of the public, including the immediate past Chief Justice, Mrs Georgina Wood, members of the Aglow Ministry, family and friends and some ministers of state.

Mrs Affenyi-Dadzie was born on June 17, 1957.

“The Gift of Gifty”, a book that outlines Mrs Affenyi-Dadzie’s profile and tributes (written by loved ones, colleagues, family and friends), was launched by Mr Kabral Blay-Amihere during the service.

Prayers

Mrs Affenyi-Dadzie blew a horn and said prayers for all people who were facing challenges.

According to her, the walls of Jericho was broken down through noise making and jubilation by those who needed to enter the city.

“The walls of Jericho were shut but God told Joshua to get the priest and give a shout and the walls of Jericho will come down. Prophetically, I am going to blow the ransom that every wall that has resisted you for years would come down and you will get to your destination in the name of Jesus,” she prayed.

Mrs Affenyi–Dadzie thanked God for her success in life, as well as God’s guidance and also prayed for all those who were present and the nation as a whole.

Her husband, Mr Kwesi Tetteh Dadzie, wished her well and prayed for more life and abundance for her, while she wished him a Happy Father’s Day with a present.

Exhortation

In an exhortation, a Reverend Minister with Aglow, Mrs E. Boadi-Darkwa, urged the congregation to depend on God for whatever they needed in life.

She urged Christians to take Jesus Christ as their personal saviour, so as to overcome challenges that would come their ways.

“We are to proclaim his goodness, to declare, to demonstrate and to shout for joy. Beloved, we are magnifying a God who is faithful. Let us have access to the throne. The word of God says if you do not have the spirit, you are not His own, you would be lost when the trumpet sounds. If you are born again your life is seated in God,” she said.

She asked the people to imitate Jesus Christ and live exemplary lives.
