It was a hilarious scene at the Obomeng park at the weekend, when the rains came down at the coronation ceremony for the Obomenghene, Nana Effah Opinamang III.

The event, organized as part of the Kwahu Easter festivities had President Akufo-Addo in attendance.
Graphic Online’s Dominic Moses Awiah reported that, the rains, which had already hinted with cloud formation begun to pour heavily after President Akufo-Addo finished his speech.
According to our reporter, the nature of the downpour sent hundreds in attendance running for cover.
He said those who could not escape were mainly those who were in traditional attire.
The security detail of the President Akufo-Addo were not spared.
