When the Information Minister Mustapha Abdul-Hamid visited Graphic (photos)

The Information Minister, Mr Mustapha Abdul-Hamid on Tuesday paid a familiarisation visit to the Graphic Communications Group Limited (GCGL) headquarters in Accra.

It was part of a familiarisation tour of media organisations in the country by the new Minister to know about their operations and challenges.

The tours are also meant to build a cordial relationship with the media as a measure to facilitate effective communication on governance issues.

In the newsroom: Mr Abdul-Hamid was welcomed to the Daily Graphic newsroom by the Editor, Mr Ransford Tetteh.

The Information Minister gave hints of a dialogue on state ownership of the media.

He also responded to a question on what government was going to do about an allegation of assault of a police officer at the Flagstaff House.
