Tex Styles staff donate blood

Some members of staff of Tex Styles Ghana Limited being taken through the process to donate blood to support the National Blood Bank.According to the Managing Director of the company, Mr Kofi Boateng, blood is the sustenance of life, therefore as part of the company’s Golden Jubilee celebrations, the management and staff have decided to donate at least 200 pints of blood to the bank. 

Mr Boateng also inaugurated a Special Blood Donors Club (CLUB 25) comprising over 100 members of staff which would avail itself of regular blood donation. 

According to Mr Boateng, Tex Styles has demonstrated a strong social responsibility towards the health sector since 2012 by donating over 15,000 bedsheets and pillow cases to some public hospitals in Ghana. 

The company also extended support to Breast Care International in educating Ghanaians on the prevention of breast cancer.
