TETRA supports Kwesimitsim Hospital
TETRA Netherlands B.V., an oil service company providing filtration and wellbore clean up services in Takoradi has provided hospital materials worth GH¢6, 917 to the Kwesimitsim Hospital in the Sekondi-Takorad metropolis in the Western Region.

The presentation of the items, which included 10 pieces of baby cot, oxygen flowmeters, six gallons’ ultra-sound gel, a quantity of rubber aprons as well as baby foam mattresses, followed a needs assessment conducted by the company.
Last year, TETRA provided similar hospital materials worth GHC11, 760.00 to the same hospital and in November 2014, the management again made another donation at the cost of GHC10, 030.00 as part of performing its co-operate social responsibility.
Saving lives
Making the presentation at a short ceremony at the hospital on Wednesday, Ms Rashidatu Mohammed, the Administrator of the company gave an assurance that her outfit would continue to provide the necessary support to the hospital as its contribution towards saving lives, especially infants and mothers.
‘‘We believe providing these hospital materials will go a long way to aid the doctors and the nurses of this hospital in performing their daily humanitarian duties,’’ she stressed.
The Medical Superintendent of the hospital, Dr Ernest Anderson on behalf of the hospital, expressed his profound gratitude and appreciation to the management of the company for the immense support extended to the hospital over the years.
He noted that such a kind gesture would go a long way to help the hospital in providing quality health care service delivery to the people who were being attended to in the catchment area.
Dr Anderson appealed to other benevolent individuals and corporate organizations to emulate the example of TETRA since the government alone could not shoulder the responsibility alone to provide for all the needs of the facility and others.
