The management of the National Service Scheme (NSS) says it has observed that some of the national service persons who have already begun their service have not completed their biometric registration.

A statement issued by the NSS in Accra last Tuesday, and signed by its acting Executive Director, Dr  Michael  Kpessa-Whyte, said the NSS Secretariat was currently validating its data for the total number of service persons deployed and matching it with the number of biometrically registered ones.

According to the statement, after the validation exercise, all service persons who will be found not to have done their biometric registration will have their names expunged from the 2016/2017 list of national service personnel.

The management of the NSS, therefore, urges all national service persons who have not completed their biometric registration to visit the various regional registration centres to do so by Friday, October 28, 2016.
