Rotaract Club of Accra-Ring Road Central launches anniversary
The Rotaract Club of Accra-Ring Road Central last Friday launched its 21st anniversary celebrations in Accra.

According to the executives of the club, the celebrations will be held on the theme; "21 Years of a Productive Journey in Service to Humanity".
The anniversary will be climaxed on December 3 with a health walk and dinner which will reward deserving members and partners whose efforts and contributions have aided the growth and development of the club over the years. There will also be an auction event during the dinner which will raise funds for their subsequent projects.
Other activities which have also been lined-up ahead of the anniversary include a donation to the Korle Bu Fevers Unit on December 2 where the club will provide beds, replace energy tubes, provide ceiling fans, change mosquito nets and paint the allocated wards.
Launching the event in Accra, Mrs Paulina Duah, President of the Rotaract Club of Accra Ring Road Central assured members that the club will continue to provide an avenue for young men and women to enhance their knowledge and skills as well as impact their communities.
She said the club will continue to address the physical and social needs of Ghanaian communities and promote better relations between Rotary International’s framework of friendship and service.
Mr Dean Senchim, Chairman of the 21st Anniversary Committee said the activities of the celebration will be funded by the club's budget which includes support of the Rotary Club of Accra Ring Road Central, voluntary contributions by members and donors and sponsorship from corporate bodies.
He also expressed gratitude to Latex Ghana and Yazz for their support to the club.
Mr William Alomatu, President of Rotary Club of Accra-Ring Road Central urged all members to set higher goals that motivates them to work harder and accomplish all the targets of the club.
