Known as the ‘Prudential Life Farewell Plan’, the product is designed to assist customers with the payment of the expenses of the funeral of their loved ones.

It is also designed to give customers the assurance that should the unexpected happen, they are covered.

The Prudential Life Farewell Plan comes in two options: Classic and Premier.

In a speech at the launch, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Prudential Life Insurance Ghana, Mr Emmanuel Mokobi Aryee, said the product was designed to protect its customers from undue financial pressures that came with the funeral of their loved ones.

“A funeral is a chance to come together and celebrate the life of a loved one. But it can bring financial pressures and worry at a difficult time.

This product is meant to ensure that customers can take care of their families and make sure they or their beloved ones are honoured with pride when they die,” he said.

According to him, the company is committed to helping as many Ghanaians as possible to give their loved ones a befitting burial when they died.

The National Insurance Commissioner, Ms Lydia Lariba Bawa, commended Prudential Ghana for the initiative.

“We welcome innovative products like the Farewell Plan that Prudential Ghana has launched today. We applaud Prudential’s commitment to listening to customers and responding to their needs. They are bringing more choices to the market, and that can only be a good thing for customers,” she said.
