Police Service launches news journal

The Minister of the Interior, Mr Prosper Douglas Bani, has reiterated the fact that the police and the other security agencies are prepared to deal with any infractions of the law during today’s general election and beyond.

“The Ghana Police Service and the other security services have delivered on their preparation to secure peace before the elections and I can say they are ready without blemish to deliver again as Ghanaians go to the polls,” he said.

Speaking at the launch of a journal by the Ghana Police Service, Police News, in Accra, Mr Bani said the police were adequately prepared in terms of logistics and physical training to safeguard the peace of the nation.

The 24-page journal will be used to inform the public about the operations and activities permitted under the dictates of the profession to be put in the public domain.

It is also the mouthpiece of the police which will be used for educating the public
